Schools have, overtime, lost their traditional position as hubs of the community. We intend to reclaim their place by reposition them as one of the centres of the community. We will do this by training 36 youth to be qualified teacher assistants and 54 women to be uniform manufactures.
Youth Development – Teacher Assistants Training
*To mitigate the chronic shortage of teachers in
the 9 schools, overcrowded classes and to
combat youth
* Unemployment, the project will train 36
unemployed youth (4 per school), from the
school communities.
Women Development – Uniform Manufacturing
*The programme will involve 54 women from the school communities (6 from each community), who will be trained
* in school uniform manufacturing.
